Daniel provided us with the best experience we could have hoped for. He put together an itinerary with last minute notice. We went to Rincon Volcano, ziplining, hot springs and a pool bar to cool off. He is very knowledgeable of history and local sights. We stopped at a local restaurant with some of the best BBQ pork I've had in a while. If you want a great fun and safe day, you need to get this guy.
Had a great afternoon with the Roadrunner crew at Llanos de Cortes Waterfall. Our driver/guide was incredibly friendly and took great care of our group of four. We felt secure and safe at all times. Communication was prompt, assuring us of our trip details. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it! We are keeping Daniel’s card and will definitely use him next trip to CR.
If you’re staying near Playa Hermosa, or Coco, or any of the beaches by Guanacaste you have to check out Roadrunners Private Tours. Daniel was so accommodating on a last minute birthday plan. He was able to coordinate jet skis for my friend and I and at a great price too. High recommend him and his team for any of your Costa Rica activities.
My sister and I took a tour down the coyote river. It was absolutely amazing. Not only was Daniel a terrific guide, but he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and was very accommodating. We had the best experience & I can’t recommend roadrunners enough. Kuky the dog was definitely an added bonus to our adventure.

My husband and I had the best time doing two tours with Daniel & his company!We did a snorkeling & boat ride trip with my parents and we saw dolphins, monkeys, jumping manta rays, sea turtles & spotted puffer fish! It was very fun.We also did a day trip to hot springs with Daniel and it was so fun! We got to relax at the beautiful hot springs, take a mud bath, and use the sauna! It was such a peaceful and beautiful setting to enjoy the last day of our trip in Costa Rica.Daniel is so communicative, thoughtful and kind! His tour van is very clean & he drives very smoothly. He also brought us cold water and juice (we asked for juice instead of beer and he was very kind to listen!)He truly went above and beyond to take photos for us and make us happy! He helped us spot toucans in the trees and a rainbow in the sky!Don’t hesitate to book with Daniel and his company. He also brought along his adorable dog named Cookie with us on the trip and it was so fun. He also plays awesome music (if you want) and has a phone charger for you to use!We will definitely book more tours with Daniel in the future for our next trip to Costa Rica! Roadrunners was excellent to work with and Daniel provided a van rental for us for a week and he communicated quickly and was flexible when we picked up and dropped off the vehicle. Highly recommend this company for your travel needs in Costa Rica.
I arranged airport transport with Daniel. He was super responsive, great communicator and it was easy to arrange. Emanuel picked us up and messaged us beforehand with a photo so we’d know to look for him. He was waiting outside with a sign for us when we arrived. We’d arranged for a van as we were bringing bicycles. Emanuel was so helpful loading and unloading everything. We really appreciated him. Highly recommended.

If you love dogs it will be hard to say good bye to Kuky and if you are not a dog person YOU WILL BE by the end of the trip :-).
Nicaragua was not on my list of places to travel this year. I was specifically just visiting Panama and Costa Rica.Right before I landed in Costa Rica I randomly just dropped these guys a message asking them if it would be possible to squeeze in a quick trip to Nicaragua while I was in Costa Rica.I only had 2 days to spare. Without even flinching once they said it was possible.Within the short span of time that I had they managed to have me see the top sights in Nicaragua from Granada to Lake Nicaragua to San Juan del Sur to views of the stunning Volcanoes all around the country to souvenir shopping in Catarina.I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Also one thing I must add Daniel is a great host with a banger playlist you’ll never get bored with him. He’s also a treasure trove on local culture and knowledge.It was an absolute pleasure to travel with them and will definitely be back to explore more.They’re based in Liberia in Costa Rica so if you happen to be in area do get in touch with them for the best experience.Love you guys. You are doing yourself a huge disservice if you don’t book with Daniel & Nicole @ROADRUNNERS PRIVATE TOURS !It was my first time out of the country and I was nervous, but all anxieties were quelled after the first two days doing excursions with Daniel & Nicole. AND, if you book with them, you get a complimentary furry friend named Kuky who is just the sweetest dog ever.We booked a surfing lesson at Tamarindo Beach (see below) and we loved it so much, we changed our other original reservation the day before to book with them again, this time for a rainforest hike through the temperate rainforest & swim in the 1/1 Blue River complete with a delicious complimentary lunch of authentic Costa Rican dishes.No matter what questions I had, Daniel’s knowledge of CR mixed with it being a biodiversity hotspot (part of why we chose it) … I knew I was in good hands. They’ve been at it close to a decade and it shows in their professionalism.We booked a private surfing lesson through them, with private transportation (2 hours) with delicious banana bread and the freshest pineapple from our professional instructor Johel (@johelbarefoot on IG, he’s taught Saquon Barkley for my NFL fans out there) and (NO LIE) my girlfriend and I were standing on our third attempts and both made it to shore by our 5th-6th.What separates them is their willingness to accommodate to our schedules; after the waterfall hike Daniel drove me around town for almost an hour afterwards to help find medicine for my partner.All in all, 12/10 going above and beyond, I am immensely grateful we came across this amazing couple! Daniel is awesome!!! He took our trip to next level and made sure we all had fun!! We were a group of 22 people. He picked us up from the airport and made sure adults and kids are comfortable. He was waiting for us at the airport so we didn’t have to wait. He also served complimentary beverages on the way to our hotel. We booked sunset cruise with him and everyone had an awesome time with great food, dance and music.. We all highly recommend him if you are looking to have an awesome time in Costa Rica!
Daniel offered us a top-notch tour from start to finish. Excellent experience touring Playa Conchal and Playa Flamingo where we were able to appreciate the best sunset. Its very comfortable transportation with air conditioning and wifi. Thank you Daniel, our family had an incredible time.

Daniel at Roadrunners was the best host to my family of four and arranged surfing, jungle tours, and sport fishing days for us. He is kind , attentive, and very professional. Daniel was the greatest tour guide today!! Very quick response time, accommodating and very responsive to our wishes/needs with small kids. Everyone had an absolute blast with his recommendations of two local beaches and a local restaurant. If you book with him, you are guaranteed to have an amazing experience. Good tour. Daniel was very professional. Answered all our questions ahead of time over WhatsApp to make an informed decision about the tour. Showed up on time, his van was super comfortable (clean, had WiFi, modern). His dog Kuky was super cute and my daughter loved him (very well behaved). The first part of the tour (waterfall) was stunning. Real nature beauty. The second part (rainforest) was disappointing but I don’t think it’s Daniel’s fault as there were a lot of other tour guides there too, so it’s clearly a popular destination. It felt super tiny, somewhat staged, and not as authentic as we had hoped for (the whole walk must have been less than a mile). I think if you really want to discover true nature, you probably have to rent a car. We were with young kids, so in the end, it didn’t bother us much, and we still saw some cool animals. Daniel’s prices aren’t much cheaper than more established tour companies but we wanted to support a small local business and glad we did. He works hard for what he does and does his best to take good care of his customers.
The trip two day one night trip to Nicaragua was fantastic. Daniel is a great tour guide. We went to the Volcano, chocolate factory, lake look out, explored the city of Granada, fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinners, boat trip, and horse buggy ride through the city of Granada. A wonderful experience. We felt very safe with Daniel. He was always with us 3 ladies. Thank you so much Daniel. I highly recommend the tour with Daniel. Great memories made in Nicaragua.
My husband and I spent a whole week in Liberia, CR back in early Nov 2023, and had a fantastic experience in all, especially towards the end of our trip when we encountered Daniel & Nicole and their awesome dog Kuky! We scheduled a couple days of private tours with them which included zip lining, shopping, water rafting, mud bathing and horseback riding…they picked us up from our hotel on schedule and stayed with us throughout our entire adventures…they even became our private photographers to assist in capturing our exciting moments!! Lol These very nice people who were extremely personable and really provided a smooth and friendly consumer experience! If you ever find yourself in these neck of the woods, be sure to book your tours with Daniel and Nicole. You will definitely get a phenomenal experience and you won’t regret it in the end!!!
Daniel and Nicole were amazing! The tour we decided to take was a Day trip to Nicaragua 🇳🇮 The tour started off in the morning with Daniel and Nicole taking us to a local spot where we ate a typical Costa Rican breakfast (it was delicious!) After that we made our way up to Nicaragua. Once we were in Nicaragua we were able to see the lake called Mar Dulce, and we got a wonderful view of one volano. We made our way for lunch to a local Nicaraguan restaurant which had amazing food and drinks as well! (I recommend the Guava fresh juice) we took a tour through a local market where it was full of fruits, food, candies, clothes showed and much more. We ended our day at the volcano Masaya where the view was beyond what we expected. Daniel and a Nicole made us feelComfortable and made us feel like we had been friends forever! I recommend taking tours with them. They also have the cutest little doggie ever named Kuky. 🩷
Daniel’s tour was incredibly amazing!!!! He is an outstanding private tour guide and is worth every penny. He treated my husband and I like family. He speaks English and communicates very well and he’s easy-going, friendly, charming, and knowledgeable about restaurants, shops, beaches, clubs, lounges, excursions, etc. Danny drove us to Coco Beach, took us shopping for souvenirs and took us to eat a local seafood restaurant, which was absolutely delicious. My husband and I love Danny and we cannot wait to visit Costa Rica/Guanacaste again. He definitely made our last day in Costa Rica Special and we look forward to him being our tour guide during our next visit. Pura Vida!!
